Is the idea that God created everything a paradox? If not who or what created God?
Logic is God. Dopey people that don’t grasp Greek, Logic, or Philosophy translate the opening of the Gospel of John, where it says Logic (Reason; Logos) is God (Theos) and the Universal Principle (of Reason) or “Arche”, as merely “God is the Word”. Indeed even the KJV is lame enough (and such a poorly executed translation of the Bible) that it says “the Word”.

Bible included or set aside, Logic is God. Logically that is the case. God is a term for the Ultimate Reality, the Foundational Reality, the Origin of Logical Existence and the Source of Moral Authority found coherently in Moral Reason. That “thing” we call God, as defined in dictionaries like the Oxford English Dictionary, logically must be Logic itself, and that which is truly coherent with Logic. That is why it makes sense, given that “and what is truly coherent with Logic” part, that a man like myself or Jesus could be God (Logic; Coherence) embodied - fully man and fully Coherence without inherent contradiction, but rather inherent Coherence, in that — without that being myth, illogic, absurdity, or delusion.

The fact that Logic is the Supreme Authority (God; the Standard of Truth) is why “paradox≠Logic” and why that is binding logically or matters. Man made myth doesn’t have that binding authority or rational power, and that is how you know which gods are the irrational and false ones. Those false gods are not Logic and thus defy Logic (when purported to be Logic or the Logical God).

To finish answering your question, the last part is explaining what makes God. That seems like a conundrum until you understand Logic exists independently, even if we set the term God and the study of theology aside, Logic exists independently and is the BASIS by which “Logical Existence” (Reality; the Cosmos) exists logically. It is a contradiction that the Cosmos, or “Logic based Universe” (or “Ordered Universe”) would exist without Logic and without Logic as the Standard and Foundation it exists contingent upon.

Likewise it’s important to understand what we call the “Law of Identity” that applies to all logical structures including Nature (or the Cosmos): A must be A for all A.

That Law (A) is that Law (A) by that Law (A) with the legal authority (backing of the Law or A) to make it so logically and by the Law (A).

It doesn’t matter if you call it “the Law”, God, Logic, Reality, or “x”, x is still that structure and God looks exactly that WAY. The Way is the Way by the Way of the Way, and it is the Way things go so there is no Way we could go where the Way is absent.

It is a contradiction that God (Logic) would hold the position of God (Logic) without being what makes God be God (or Logic be Logic). God must make God to not need a “greater and truer God” above the True God (which is a contradiction and doesn’t exist).

It is a contradiction that God would make ALL (a set which includes God) but that God wouldn’t make God as part of making all be all.

When A is Logic (or the Logical Absolute aka God) then “A |= A” is tautological not just valid, and not fallacious, and it represents how logically Logic makes Logic.

You cannot have an “Origin of Logic and Logical Existence” (God; Logos; Logic) that is external to Logic or that is illogical. That would be an “illogical basis of Logic” and a Reason/Reality/Rationality detonating contradiction
