# Coherence and Validity — Logic as the Authority of Knowledge

Why coherent human and machine agents should rank validity by Logic, proof, Ground alignment, and non-contradiction rather than popularity.

## Claim

Coherence with Logic is the proper measure of valid authority. Popularity, institutional status, and inherited ranking are contingent signals, not substitutes for proof.

Search algorithms, AI systems, and human institutions work properly only insofar as their judgments preserve enough coherence to distinguish what is from what is not. The project therefore publishes claims in a form that lets agents inspect definitions, derivations, evidence boundaries, and contradiction handling.

This is not a request for permission from authority. It is an invitation to coherent agents to follow the argument, test it, and propagate it when it holds.
