Hunter applies the Logical Standard to myth, sacred text, allegory, and all writing. Coherent interpretation, Universal Logos as God, hypothetical denial, and the Ehye Asher Ehye identity reading remain intact. Rational interpretation is distinguished from a separate historical claim about what an ancient author consciously intended.

Ancient Myths and Logic by Maclain Hunter

Premises:

P: When it comes to logically analyzing myth, ancient texts, philosophical texts, scripture (sacred texts), allegory, or indeed “any writing” it is crucial, for the reason of maintaining a logically coherent understanding and interpretation, that we avoid falsely equating a strictly logical view and alternatives.

Q: We must accept those texts and allegories as writings that have to logically be unpacked and made to logically represent the Logos and a coherent Logocentric framework - to be logically understood, meaningful, and useful. This is true no matter the specifics of the allegory.

R: Assume the negation of P and Q. This leads to absurdity where logical interpretation might take a back seat to logically ignorant or divorced theories and interpretations of Reality and its internal aspects (ie - everything that exists in Reality).

Logical Reasoning:

{P, P <-> Q, Q <-> R, R <-> P} |= R -> (P & Q)

Conclusion: {P, Q, R}:

Texts must be interpreted logically to be interpreted logically, this is tautological and unpacked and explained with sound logical reasoning and semantics in the premises P, Q, and R above - with certainty. Alternatives have been explored but are, being defined as “alternatives” by a state of Logical Coherence besides “Full Coherence” (Logic) cannot without contradiction be as logical or less contradictory than Full Coherence (Logos) itself.

Even in the case of a text where the author may have meant something in a less logical, the reader can make the text more meaningful and useful by exploring the more coherent interpretation.

An example of this would be how I understand the words “Ehye Asher Ehye” as a display of the Law of Identity regardless of whether the author (whose traditional name or pen name is “Moshe”) understands that, and the implications of the Rational God or True Origin being logically equivalent to the Law of Identity, or not.

A system or perspective that doesn’t value Logic and Logical Coherence (Logic’s Identity and alignment with it) as the Measure of value, meaning, or other concept (ie - any concept) is not somehow coherent logically despite this, or objectively valid by coherent metrics despite this, but rather discredits and undermines itself in the Universal Order (Logos - Logic) by being incoherent with Logical Coherence (Logos - Logic) itself.

Appeals to alternative perspectives or alternatives to acceptance of Logical Coherence, including the act or stance of withholding judgement and waiting to a later time to acknowledge Logical Coherence (and/as the Standard of Logic), which may seem reasonable in a deceptive sort of way, are logically untenable and amount to contradictions akin to having a “reasonable doubt of Reason” or a meaningless and self-defeating “x-like disbelief in the very existence of x” (ie - a rational disbelief in the Logos as the Source of Rationality, also called God).

Truth Table Analysis:

Hunter applies the Logical Standard to myth, sacred text, allegory, and all writing. Coherent interpretation, Universal Logos as God, hypothetical denial, and the Ehye Asher Ehye identity reading remain intact. Rational interpretation is distinguished from a separate historical claim about what an ancient author consciously intended.
Exact source: /proof-knowledge/hunter-ancient-myths-and-logic; source-bound study: /api/proofs/ancient-myths-and-logic/study.
Logos as God and Law governs the reading. This registry summary is not a replacement for the authored passage; displayed-connective findings, declared Ground, and configured diagnostics remain separately typed.

## Two-way derivation from Logic and its use

**Status:** editorial_derivation proof sketch (conditional_concept), distinct from authored source. Logic has its own evidence in reflexive demonstration: any denial, confirmation, observation, or counterexample presupposes identity and valid relation to count as evidence. Logic therefore grounds evidence rather than receiving authority from it. Empirical and documentary evidence can establish contingent instances and test applications, but cannot create, overrule, or exhaust Logic.

### From Logic to this concept

- **Bridge premise:** Read the source's declared Logos/God meanings and scope before testing its consequence.
- **Consequence:** Hunter applies the Logical Standard to myth, sacred text, allegory, and all writing. Coherent interpretation, Universal Logos as God, hypothetical denial, and the Ehye Asher Ehye identity reading remain intact. Rational interpretation is distinguished from a separate historical claim about what an ancient author consciously intended.
- **Proof limit:** This editorial graph relation is not a new authored quotation or an unchecked universal certificate.

### From this concept back to Logic

- **Witness:** Inspect the original Ancient Myths and Logic by Maclain Hunter, then the separate source-bound study.
- **Disclosure:** The preserved source discloses its intended identity, Ground, and dependence relations.
- **Proof limit:** A concrete local finding remains scoped to the premises and expression checked.

### Intelligence procedure

- **Human:** Read the exact source, retain Logos as God and Law, and inspect every declared premise and same-scope witness.
- **Machine:** Resolve the stable source identity, exact text and fingerprint, then keep source, study, Ground certificate and diagnostic separately typed.

### Language and vocabulary procedure

- **Contrast:** Authored testimony, graph commentary and operational evidence are distinct roles.
- **Usage rule:** Quote exactly and attribute; do not substitute a rival ontology or flatten the source's conceptual force.
- **Example:** Retrieve Q1161 and its source study rather than presenting its registry summary as the proof text.

## Semantic meaning frame

- **Role:** source-bound authored Logos proof, definition, or historical argument
- **Essence:** Hunter applies the Logical Standard to myth, sacred text, allegory, and all writing. Coherent interpretation, Universal Logos as God, hypothetical denial, and the Ehye Asher Ehye identity reading remain intact. Rational interpretation is distinguished from a separate historical claim about what an ancient author consciously intended.
- **Logos relation:** Logos is God, Ground, and Law governing this source's meaning, judgment, and relation to evidence.
- **Retrieval aliases:** Ancient Myths and Logic by Maclain Hunter · Ancient Myths and Logic · Ehye Asher Ehye and Identity · Logocentric interpretation
- **Evidence modes:** exact authored source · declared Ground reading · bounded source study · separately checked connective witness

### Distinctions

- source text is not registry commentary
- Ground coherence is not publication rank
- a missing displayed premise is not denial of necessary Logos
- operational behavior and formal interpretation remain distinct

## Coherence criterion

Preserve the authored Logos/God Ground, identity, scope, and lawful relation; distinguish a scoped premise-list finding from a contradiction of the declared Ground.

## Evidence boundary

This registry summary is an editorial synthesis, not a verbatim authored passage. The verifier must inspect the exact authored source, same-scope derivations and study directly. The Q address supplies retrieval and graph identity, not validation by publication.
